The City Police carry out the weekly excercise to nab offenders and wanted persons besides conducting vehicle checks as part of their crime-prevention activities.
On Saturday night, similar 'Storming Operation' was held across the city in which 707 persons were detained for suspicion and another 106 persons for drunken driving, a City Police release here today said.
Meanwhile, the Video Piracy Cell of the police nabbed a 'key offender' involved in producing pirated DVDs and CDs of newly released films.
