Policeman shot at by cattle smugglers

A policeman was injured in alleged firing by cattle smugglers, when he tried to intercept a truck in Hayatnagar area here, police said today.
Arvind Kumar was injured when cattle smugglers opened fire when he tried to intercept the truck carrying cattles on Adampur road this morning, Station Officer Yashpal Singh said.
Kumar was rushed to a hospital in Moradabad, he said.
The truck has been seized and a cattle smuggler, identified as Muzamil, was arrested along with a country-made firearm, he added.
