Four policemen were today suspended following an incident of misconduct at the police outpost at Bankey Bihari here.
"In-charge of police outpost Chhote Lal Yadav, constable Laxmi Narayan, constable Vinod Kumar and constable Jagdish Singh have been suspended as prima facie they have been found guilty," SSP Gulab Singh said, adding that a departmental probe has been ordered.
According to sequence of events, Vrindavan Municipality member Mahendra Chauhan, who had allegedly misbehaved with a woman, was "virtually forced" to hit his head with his shoes 26 times until the in-charge asked him to stop at the outpost yesterday night.
