Prabhu to hold meeting over problems of suburban commuters

Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will visit Thane on January 9 and hold a meeting regarding the problems faced by the commuters on Thane-Karjat and Thane-Kasara sections of the Central Railway.
An agitation of commuters at Diva near here today threw the suburban train service out of gear.
An official release from Thane guardian minister Ganesh Naik said he and Kalyan MP Dr Srikant Shinde requested the Union Minister to hold a meeting of officials, people's representatives and leaders of commuter organisations.
