Officials said a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed for distribution of Doordarshan's overseas 'India Channel' on DTH Platform of Hotbird - 13B Satellite and the reciprocal distribution of DW-TV on DD Freedish.
Official sources said this agreement will go a long way in increasing the reach of Doordarshan's international channel especially in Europe and in other areas including countries in Asia, North Africa.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar would be present tomorrow at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two broadcasters' officials said.
