India Infoline Housing Finance (IIHFL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of India Infoline Finance Limited.
Ratra was associated with Indiabulls Housing Finance, ICICI Group and HDFC prior to joining IIHFL.
He will be the prime driver for growing IIFL's books on the affordable housing product line, IIHFL said in a statement.

SRF June quarter net profit more than doubled to Rs 99.47 cr * SRF Ltd, a leading manufacturer of chemical-based industrial intermediates, today reported an over two-fold jump in net profit at Rs 99.47 crore for the three-month period ended June 30.
The company's total income rose to Rs 942.09 crore compared to Rs 824.91 crore in the same period a year ago.
