Held in the East Lawn, the charity concert raised money for Prince Harry's Sentebale charity, said The Hollywood Reporter.
It also raised awareness of youth affected by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.
"What we know is that HIV is a virus that thrives off silence and feeds on stigma. Every single one of us has a responsibility to educate ourselves.
"To do what we can to speak out and stamp out the silence, ignorance, and fear that the virus needs to win," said Prince Harry before introducing Coldplay to the stage.
The charity concert featured the British rock band as well as Grammy-winner Joss Stone, the Basotho Youth Choir and African-Norwegian duo Nico and Vinz.
