"Prosenjit Chatterjee showed preference for white linens in 'Lodai' while Saheb, who is a new age popular actor and very youthful, went for grundgy tunics. It varies," Ratul told PTI after unveiling his new range of men's wear label 'Spring Summer Collection 2015.'
Ratul, who believes the advent of metrosexual man has changed the perception that there is not much variation in men's fashion scene, recalls how personalities from Shashi Tharoor (in his family wedding), to Joy Mehta and Manoj Tewari, from Karan Paul to Eoin Morgan, all are particulars about their dresses.
"I don't believe there has not been much changes in men's fashion wear segment in recent years. If women want to look stylishl and different the same holds true for men as well. But again sticking to the basics is important in fashion," Ratul, having worked with Pierre Cardin and the only frontranking men's fashion designer from Kolkata after Sarbari Dutta, said.
