Protesters block road in Faridabad over minor's death

Scores of people staged protest and blocked the road near Patel chowk area here against the alleged killing of a 10-year-old boy and demanded a probe into the incident.
Rahul was allegedly kidnapped on March 27 from SGM nagar here by Usman and Pankaj, who were later arrested by police from Meerut's Bagpat chowk.
The kidnappers confessed to the crime and informed police that they demanded 15 lakh ransom from boy's family but they had killed the boy after kidnapping and they had thrown his body in forest near Meerut, police said.
Protesters blocked the crossroad near Patel chowk and also demanded a government job to a family member and their children's admission in government school, after intervention from officials and assurance from them, police managed to disperse the crowd, they said.
The victim's body was recovered from a forest in Meerut near Pooth village and it was brought here by Haryana Police yesterday.
