Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today claimed that Punjab is the most "peaceful" state in the country and there was no "threat of terrorism" to it.
"Punjab is the most peaceful state in the country there was no threat of terrorism in the state as Punjab police have nabbed terrorist modules not only from here but also from abroad," Badal said here.
Meanwhile, Badal attacked Congress by asking people to give a befitting reply to the "defame Punjab campaign" launched by the party's Vice President Rahul Gandhi and others.
Deputy Chief Minister also said Punjab was fighting national as well as international war on drugs and not a single gram narcotics is being produced in the state.
About the rallies organized by former Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh, he said "Amarinder is only fighting for personal goals to capture the captaincy of PPCC from Partap Singh Bajwa and his programme has nothing to do with the common people of the state".
