PWD clerk arrested while taking bribe

The anti-corruption bureau today said it had arrested a clerk with PWD at Wada in Palghar district for demanding bribe.
Ankush Sitaram Thorat, 55, had demanded the money for valuation of monthly rental of the flat of the complainant.
Inspector Dilip Vichare of ACB, Thane said police laid a trap and arrested Thorat while accepting Rs 10,000 on the office premises.
