VHP to hold programmes to mark Sanvat new year

VHP and its affiliates today decided to hold a series of programmes to mark the begging of the Sanvat new year.
A statement issued by VHP said a series of programmes such as havan, holding prabhat pheri (morning processions) and bhajan sandhyas will be held next week to mark the Sanvat new year.
As the VHP is celebrating its golden jubilee, these programmes will be held on a large scale, it said.
The organisation will also hold 'Ram mahotsava'at 151 places across Delhi and felicitate the elders.
