Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Narendran highlighted the contribution made by Tagore in promotion of culture and education.
Hailing the Tagore Society for establishing the bust of the great poet and philosopher, Narendran said he was aware of the society's activities including promotion of Tagore's teaching, which was not restricted to educational institutions alone but beyond.
The general secretary of Tagore Society here, Ashish Choudhary said the bust was 11 feet two inches and was the most valuable gift to the steel city of Jamshedpur by the society.
