Holding that 2002 Gujarat riots is no longer a poll issue, Yoga guru Ramdev today said Rahul Gandhi had raised old matters which have no significance in the present and he needs to be more "mature" in his approach.
"The issues which Rahul Gandhi is talking about today have become old and are no longer poll issues. He needs to be more mature in his approach," Ramdev said, commenting on Rahul's interview to a TV channel.
"Recent assembly elections results have shown how Congress has sunk. Now, senior leaders of the party have left the onus on Rahul Gandhi...He will have to do all things alone," he said.
Ramdev claimed that some Congress leaders were contacting him, asking him to get them BJP ticket, but he refused to elaborate.
On the functioning of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, he said the party has lost its credibility.
He said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should stick to his stand that action will be taken against tainted Congress ministers.
Ramdev said the country will create a record in practising yoga. "10 crore people will do yoga simultaneously across the country on March 23. This will be aimed at making people health-conscious. Our workers are doing registration for this."
Ramdev said he will meet the Rajasthan Chief Minister to urge her to include yoga education in school syllabus in her state.
