Rain: All schools closed tomorrow in Pondy and Karaikal rain

All schools, including privately managed institutions will remain closed in Puducherry and Karaikal regions tomorrow as the met department has forecast heavy rains for the regions, a senior education official said.
Joint Director of Education Krishnaraj said that the holiday has been declared following heavy rains forecast by the Meteorological Department for the two regions.
Puducherry and its suburbs were lashed by heavy rains today, inundating low lying areas and resulting in traffic jams at various points.
