"Moderate rain was registered in the national capital with Safdarjung observatory recording 35.8 mm at 2:30 pm", according to the MeT office.
"The reading at other observatories at the same time were -- Palam (46.2 mm), Lodhi Road (34.0 mm), Ayanagar (38.8 mm) and Ridge (19.6 mm)," the weatherman said.
Waterlogging was reported from several parts of the national capital including many traffic intersections.
"Waterlogging complaints were received from areas such as Wazirabad flyover, Barapullah, Adchini traffic intersection, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg, Lodhi Road, IGNOU Road, Bhagwan Dass Road, AIIMS, Rajokri flyover among others," according to an official at the Traffic Control Room.
The forecast for maximum temperature tomorrow is 34 degrees Celsius.
"Cloudy skies with rains and thundershowers in Delhi and parts of the national capital region is also expected tomorrow," the weatherman said.
