Rains lash parts of MP

Unseasonal rains lashed four
districts of Madhya Pradesh today, the Indian Meteorological Department said here today, with a forecast of showers and dust-storms across a large part of the state in the next 24 hours.
Cloudy weather with thunder may prevail in Ujjain, which witnessed untimely heavy showers and a squall yesterday, leading to seven deaths at the Kumbh Mela site.
Sagar, Indore, Betul and Seoni districts received rainfall this evening, IMD meteorologist U S Chouksey told PTI.
On the other hand, heatwave condition is likely to prevail in Rewa, Sagar and Gwalior divisions besides Khargone district.
The sudden change in the weather was the result of "moisture incursion" from the Arabian Sea, he said.

Dust-storms, rains and thundershowers are likely to occur at the isolated places in Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Ratlam, Ujjain, Indore, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar Malwa, Rajgarh, Guna, Morena, Gwalior, Bhind, Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Panna and Rewa district in the next 24 hours, he said.
