Delivering her address at the first session in the House, the Governor said the new government would promote investment, provide better jobs, strengthen the economic structure, ensure development of education and skill, and provide women's health and safety along with their empowerment.
The state government is committed to ensuring all-round development of the state and public welfare schemes, she said.
The concept of 'Suraj Sankalp' was meant to hear voice of all sections of society and redress their grievances and needs in a time-bound manner in able, good and transparent governance, she said.
The state government would make annual and a Five Year Plan in priority areas -- investment promotion, better job availability, improvement in financial set up and education, she said.
Disabled people, women and children's better health would be given a special reference in the plans, she said.
The Governor said the government has taken up 60-day public welfare programmes, and they would be carried forward in one year and five year plans for effective implementation.
On the economic and development front, Rajasthan slipped to 16th position from 11 among the other states, and the financial situation was very dangerous in the previous government's regime, she said.
In her written speech tabled in the House, the Governor commented on each department and scheme in detail with statistics and financial layouts which included social sector, finance department, labour and employment, power, Panchayti Raj institutions, agriculture, medical and health, water, irrigation, road and other infrastructure sectors.
