Raj govt approves setting up of 39 police posts

Rajasthan government today approved a proposal for setting up 39 police posts, with special emphasis to check illegal transportation of cows for slaughtering.
As per her Budget announcement for this financial year, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has approved formation of 39 police posts in parts of the state, an official spokesman said.
Besides keeping an eye on curbing crime, these posts will specially work for "go-raksha" (cow protection) and their illegal migration for slaughtering, he said.
