Congress leaders led by TNCC president B S Gnanadesikan paid floral tributes to Gandhi's portrait at Sathyamurthy Bhavan, the state Congress headquarters.
Gandhi was assassinated by an LTTE suicide bomber in Sriperumbudur in 1991 during an election campaign.
