Ramanathan, Prasanth in semis of ITF meet

Top two seeds Ramkumar Ramanathan and N Vijay Sundar Prasanth of India would clash in their respective singles semifinals against Markos Kalovelonis of Russia and Bowen Quyang of China here tomorrow in the LMW ITF Men's Futures tennis tournament.
The doubles final also to be played tomorrow would be between top seeded Chinese duo of Xin Gao and Bowen Quyang and Indian pair of unseeded Mohit Mayur and Prashanth.
With the three quarterfinals going in straight sets for the winners, the match of the day was a fighting Ronit Singh Bisht, winner of the Powerpack ITF Men's Singles title a fortnight ago at Chennai, who went down to seventh seeded Markos Kalovelonis. The Russian's extraordinary abilities to win his games on serve and variety of ground strokes that helped him win on his come back trail after losing the first set. Markos won at 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
