Ramco Systems launches payroll solution in Mandarin Chinese

Coinciding with the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to China, enterprise software provider Ramco Systems has launched its payroll software -- Ramco HCM -- in Chinese market, taking the total service offering to 70 per cent of world's working population.
With this initiative, Chennai-based Ramco Systems HCM (Human Capital Management) service would be available to clients in Mandarin Chinese, a company statement said.
"Including China in our worldwide payroll introduces our solution to a major growth market. Many of our current and prospective multinational clients have established operations in China for strategic reasons", Ramco Systems, CEO, Virender Aggarwal said.

TVS Jupiter crosses five lakh mark
* Two and three wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor today said its Jupiter scooter has crossed the five lakh sales mark, since its launch in September 2013.
"A lot of thought and customer insights went into the making of TVS Jupiter. The fact that we have crossed this landmark in record time is testament to the fact that consumers are happy with the product's performance and quality", TVS Motor, President and CEO, K N Radhakrishnan said.

NTPC gets award for exemplary performance * NTPC has bagged the award for its exemplary performance in the power sector.
NTPC CMD Arup Roy Choudhury received the D&B Corporate Award 2015 yesterday, the power PSU said in a statement.
The award was presented by former finance minister Yashwant Sinha at a function held in Mumbai.
On the occasion a publication titled 'India's Top 500 Companies' to recognize exemplary performance in the corporate world, along with the felicitation of the top companies across sectors was also released, the statement said.

* Budget hotels chain OYO Rooms today announced the launch of its mobile app.
The 'OYO Rooms' mobile app is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app takes away the need to pre-book a hotel by making bookings fast & easy- it takes just 3 taps to book a room, the company said in a release.
