MP health department accountant caught accepting bribe

A Madhya Pradesh health department accountant was caught red handed today by the Lokayukta police while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 from a lab technician for releasing his salary.
The accountant posted in Amarwada town, identified as Chandra Shekhar Daheria, was caught red handed by a Lokayukta team while accepting a Rs 2,000 bribe from lab technician Girish Chandrawanshi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) H P Choudhry said.
Chandrawanshi is posted at the Rahiwada Primary Health Centre in the district from whom Daheria had demanded a bribe to release his three month's salary, the police official said.
A case under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against him, he said.
