Predicting a "historical" change in the next Lok Sabha elections, yoga guru Ramdev today said his support to BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was 'issue-based'.
He was supporting Modi since the BJP's policy was in consonance with his anti-corruption crusade, including fight to bring back blackmoney stashed outside the country, he told reporters.
Replying to a query, Ramdev said "I will not be in the fray in Lok Sabha election" adding he expected the BJP-led NDA to get around 300 seats.
To a query on Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Ramdev said "I realise that I had made a mistake in supporting him during the stir".
Ramdev is here to participate in the 'somayagam,' (a vedic ritual).
