The week starting from today to November 6 will also be observed as Rashtriya Ekta Saptah across the state, officials said.
Also as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2016, a pledge-taking function was held at the same venue in the presence of senior officials and staff of the Assam Secretariat.
The Chief Secretary administered the oath of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas followed by the pledge on National Vigilance Week.
