Refined palmolein eases on poor demand, ample stocks

Refined palmolein prices fell further in an otherwise subdued Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to reduced offtake by local traders and stockists amid adequate stocks.
Groundnut oil, however, held steady at its overnight levels on scattered support.
In non-edible section, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial declined owing to lacklustre demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of market moving factors.
Turning to edible segment, refined palmolein edged lower by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 464 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 466, while groundnut oil closed unaltered at Rs 945 per 10kg.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold lost Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 3,950 as against Rs 3,975 and castoroil commercial fell by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 820 compared to Rs 825 yesterday.
Linseed oil finished unchanged at Rs 875 per 10kg.
