Refined palmolein recovers on fresh retail demand

Refined palmolein recovered marginally at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following fresh demand from retailers.
While, groundnut oil dropped owing to lower demand from stockists and retailers amidst ample arrivals.
Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial also weakened due to reduced demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, linseed oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein rebounded by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 572 from Thursday's close at Rs 570, but groundnut oil dipped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 830 as against Rs 840 yesterday.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 40 per 100 kg to Rs 4,725 from yesterday's close at Rs 4,765 and castor oil commercial moved down by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 975 as against Rs 983.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 730 per 10kg.
