Refined palmolien surge on rising demand

Refined palmolein maintained its uptrend at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on rising demand from stockists and retailers on the back of on going festival season.
While, groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any major buying activity.
Meanwhile, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial eased due to lower offtake from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein gained by Rs 6 per 10kg to Rs 465 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 459. Groundnutoil remained unchanged at Rs 1,100 per 10kg.
However, in the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold declined by Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 4,130 as compared to Rs 4,150 yesterday and castoroil commercial edged down by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 856 as against to Rs 860 previously.

Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 785 per 10kg.
