Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra says it is fun creating the wardrobe for veteran actress Rekha in upcoming romantic drama "Fitoor".
Malhotra, who is a self-confessed fan of Rekha and has worked with her in previous films, said the screen diva is always ready to experiment with her looks.
"I have been a huge fan of Rekhaji. I have worked with her earlier as well. She is very young in her mind and approach. 'Fitoor' is one of my favourite films. She looks incredible and it's fun working with her. Doing an important film like 'Fitoor' is incredible," he told reporters at an event last evening.
In the film, whose first look was launched last year, Rekha, 60, will be seen playing the role of a mercurial Begum.
Helmed by 'Kai Po Che' filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, the movie is a story of passion, beauty and love. It also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif in prominent roles.
"Fitoor" is said to be a modern take on Charles Dickens' "The Great Expectations" and sees Rekha playing a character inspired by its famous troublemaker Miss Havisham.
Malhotra was a part of HT Delhi's Most Stylish Awards 2015. When asked who is the most stylish celebrity of Bollywood, the designer said, "It has to be Amitabh Bachchan. His timeless style and body of work are something which make him stand out. He is phenomenal.
