The company had posted a net profit of Rs 21.82 crore in the January-March period of the previous fiscal, Relaxo Footwears said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's net sales on a standalone basis increased by 18.13 per cent during the quarter under review to Rs 438.11 crore as against Rs 370.87 crore for the same period a year ago, it added.
For the financial year ended March 2015, the company's standalone net profit increased 57.54 per cent to Rs 103.40 crore as against Rs 65.63 crore in the previous fiscal.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Relaxo Footwears informed that its board has recommended a dividend of Re 1 per share of face value of Re 1 each for the year ended March 2015.
Relaxo Footwears' shares were trading 12.18 per cent up at Rs 794.50 per scrip during afternoon session on the BSE.
