The company had reported a net profit of Rs 20.19 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
During the period under review, the company's net sales stood at Rs 479.45 crore, up 18.32 per cent from Rs 405.21 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
For the year ended March 31, 2015, the company reported 23.9 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 78.79 crore as against a net profit of Rs 63.57 crore in the previous year.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, the company recommended a dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2015.
Siyaram Silk shares were trading 13.77 per cent up at Rs 1,090.50 apiece during afternoon session on the BSE.
