"We have 1 lakh agents as of now...There will be net addition of 20,000 agents during the next fiscal," Reliance Life Insurance Chief Agency Officer Manoranjan Sahoo told reporters here.
To a query, he said the private life insurer's new business premium for 2014 stood at Rs 1,000 crore. "We are growing at around 10 per cent."
Earlier, Sahoo announced opening of a library at Government Primary School in Akaram village of Nalgonda district in Telangana under partnership with global NGO 'Room to Read'.
The venture, part of Reliance Life's Corporate Social Responsibility endeavour, will support more schools with such libraries in the coming years, he added.
