The number of zones have been increased from five to six for single journey, both for tokens and smart cards, an official statement said.
Fares for Zone I (upto five km) would be Rs five, for Zone II (five to 10 km) would be Rs 10, for Zone III (10 to 15 km) would be Rs 15 and would remain same for Zone IV (15 to 20km), for Zone V (20 to 25 km) would be Rs 20 and for Zone VI (25 to 30 km) would be Rs 25, it said.
