A source said that the 80-year-old actor suffered a head injury following a fall caused by the heart attack, reported Digital Spy.
The "One Foot in the Grave" star was rushed to a hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on Wednesday afternoon.
Wilson's longtime actress friend, Anette Crosbie, said she is quite worried about his health and keeping her fingers crossed.
"I'm taken aback, it doesn't come as a total surprise because Richard has had angina for quite a few years.
"Let's face it, we're all heading in the same direction, and when you get to our age, it's getting closer and closer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's going to be okay," she said.
