A local court today sentenced a robbers' gang leader to life imprisonment for murdering two persons during a dacoity six years ago.
Additional District and Sessions judge Yogendra Narayan Singh found Buchan Yadav, leader of North Bihar Liberation Army, guilty of killing two employees of a construction company and sentenced him to life term.
The court, however, acquitted 23 other accused for lack of evidence.
According to prosecution, Yadav and his men gunned down Dhananjaya Singh and Mintu Singh and looted Rs 1.75 lakh at Rahta village in Madhepura district on January 8, 2006.
