Rs 4.75 lakh looted from transporter

Unidentified miscreants today decamped with Rs 4.75 lakh belonging to a transporter near a roundabout under Sakchi police station here, the police said.
The transporter, Subhash Kumar Singh, had withdrawn the money from a bank and kept it in his motorcycle when the miscreants managed to decamped with the booty, police said.
Singh was on his way to his office on Kalimati Road when the incident took place, the police said adding a search operation has been launched to apprehend the culprits.
