Unidentified youths today looted Rs 45 lakh from two staff of a toll gate at Godipada under Jankia police station limits in Khurda district, about 35 km from here.
The miscreants snatched the bag with cash at gun point from the staff and fled towards Berhampur on NH-16 in a car, the police said quoting the complaint.
The incident took place when the toll gate manager and supervisor were on the way towards Jankia in a car to deposit the cash in a bank, the police said.
"We have formed special teams to nab the culprits involved in the incident," said Khurda SP Dilip Das.
