RSS chief presented with Chandragupta-Chanakya painting

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was presented with a painting depicting the Mauryan emperor Chandragupta and his mentor Chanakya here today.
The painter, Vasudev Kamat, who was felicitated by Bhagwat at an event in suburban Borivli tonight, presented his work to the RSS chief.
Kamat said the painting shows Chanakya speaking to Chandragupta about 'Akhand Bharat'.
The felicitation was organised by members of the Janseva Kendra organisation, comprising 61-year old Kamat's fans.
Addressing the gathering after the felicitation, Bhagwat spoke of the role of RSS workers and their commitment to society.
