Noting that Congress has "failed" on all fronts, RSS today advocated mass mobilisation of voters so that people can erect an alternative to the Congress-led UPA in the Lok Sabha polls next year.
100 per cent voting was necessary to oust the "corrupt" UPA government, RSS General Secretary Suresh Joshi said.
He was talking to reporters here on the last day of the three-day National Executive meeting of RSS.
On whether RSS would give an open call to vote for BJP, he said it had not done it earlier and will not do it this time also.
"There is rampant corruption, government has failed in ensuring border security, its economic and defence policies were in a shambles. The common man is very unhappy with the government. Intellectuals and social organsiations are all against the government... We also think that this government should go," he said.
After January a new voters' list will be prepared. RSS would ask all its cadres and all citizens of the country to ensure that their names were there in the list, he said.
"We will do a mass mobilisation to ensure that maximum number of new voters should be there in the voters' list," he said, adding people should ensure cent per cent voting as in democracy every vote has importance.
Asked as to what was the alternative to the Congress government, he said the people would find an alternative.
When asked about RSS role in deciding BJP candidates for 2014 polls, he said, "There will be no role of Sangh. BJP selected the Prime Ministerial candiate. There is no role of RSS.
