Salman Khurshid booked for violating Model Code of Conduct

An FIR was today registered against Union minister Salman Khurshid and one of his supporters for alleged violation of poll code here.
Khurshid, it is alleged that held an election meeting in the evening here after the prescribed time for the campaigning was over.
The case was registered at Fatehgarh police station here, sources said.
The FIR was registered reviewing EC observer's report in this regard, the sources said.
