Samuel L Jackson returns to 'XXX' franchise

Actor Samuel L Jackson is reuniting with Vin Diesel in the upcoming installment of action movie "XXX".
The "Pulp Fiction" star has signed up to reprise his role as NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons in the third film in the franchise, tentatively titled "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage", reported Ace Showbiz.
Diesel, who portrayed leading man Xander Cage in the original 2002 film, has announced Jackson's return on his Facebook page, writing, "Excited to work with Sam again... His portrayal of Gibbons was so good... Timeless. Welcome to the Xander Zone!"
Jackson starred in both "XXX" and 2005's "XXX: State of the Union" sequel, which Diesel did not return for.

Diesel also revealed some concept art from the film on Instagram, and announced current UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor will have a role in the new movie.
Production is reportedly underway in the Philippines.
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently hinted that she will play the female lead in the film.
