Sara Ramirez will not be coming back in a series regular role for the sixth and final season of political drama "Madam Secretary".
However, the actor, who plays political strategist Kat Sandoval on the CBS show, may have a guest appearance, TVLine reported.
Ramirez joined the show, led by Tea Leoni, in the fourth season after the sudden departure of Bebe Neuwirth who played Nadine Tolliver.
The show was her first series regular role on the small screen since her exit from ABC's long-running medical drama "Grey's Anatomy", in which she starred for over a decade as Dr Callie Torres.
"Madam Secretary" also stars Tim Daly, Zeljko Ivanek, Keith Carradine, Sebastian Arcelus, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen and Kathrine Herzer.
Final season airs in October.
