PSI Pallavi Nalawade of Badlapur (E) police station told PTI that the incident occured on March 30 when the victim, an eighth grade student was returning from school here when two teenagers accosted her.
The girl was abducted in an autorickshaw following which she was taken to a room in Shirgaon where she was held captive and molested, her complaint said.
While one of the accused has been taken into custody, the other is still absconding.
The police have charged the duo under sections 363,366 (A), 341, 354(A) of the IPC and also sections 8 of the POCSO Act of 2012.
