The education institutions including private schools have further been closed till May 13 due to threat of aftershocks, official of Education department said.
Authorities had closed all educational institutions after the earthquake shook Bhaderwah and adjoining areas of Doda district on May 1 till May 8 and later extended it to May 10.
There were 21 tremors in Bhaderwah-Doda-Kishtwar belt during over a week with maximum 11 on May one. While one tremor was felt in Bhadwerwah on April 31, 11 on May one, three on May 2 and one each on May 3 and May 5 and two each on May 6 and May 8.
A tremor measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale was recorded at 12.27 PM and subsequent 10 aftershocks occurred till 3.02 PM on May one in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly twin district of Kishtwar and Doda.
