Scribe passes away

Journalist N D Shivakumar, who was
working for The Times Of India, passed away after he suffered a massive heart attack here today.
Shivakumar (39), who worked as Assistant Editor (Political), was here covering the Winter Session of the state legislative assembly.
He is survived by wife and two-and-half-year-old daughter.
Members of the House led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar paid tributes to the journalist.
Siddaramaiah, in his condolence remarks, said Shivakumar was a young journalist and was adept at writing political analysis.
JDS Floor Leader H D Kumaraswamy also condoled Shivakumar's death.
Prasar Bharati Chairman A Surya Prakash has expressed shock at the death of Shivakumar and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
