Security beefed up for 'Alvida Namaz' in Lucknow

Elaborate security arrangements have been made by the police in old city areas for 'Alvida Namaz' tomorrow.
"Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Alwida namaz to be held tomorrow," District Magistrate Rajshekhar said.
More than 2,000 police personnel and 20 magistrates have been deployed in the area, he said, adding that 20 CCTV and video cameras have also been installed for surveillance.
Besides there would be 4 drone cameras, fire tenders, ambulances and quick response teams also and arrangements have also been made for power back up, the DM said.
'Alvida Namaz' is offered on the last Friday of Ramzan.
