Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu today assured entrepreneurs from Seemandhra that he will take the responsibility of implementing the package for the new state, which was approved by the Parliament while passing the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Bill.
Addressing members of the Andhra Chamber of Commerce and Industry here, he elaborated the importance and benefits of the special package for Seemandhra.
He said that he would take the responsibility to implement the package and also to extend it by another 10 years.
He asked people from Seemandhra to forget the past and develop the new state which has plenty of natural resources, human resources and also entrepreneurship.
He said that the new state has a vast coastline which provides an opportunity to develop more ports for industrial development and employment opportunities.
Seeking the support of people from Seemandhra for an NDA government at the Centre, he said that several surveys had already predicted that the BJP would be the single largest party by winning more than 247 seats.
Earlier, addressing BJP workers, he announced that after coming to power, a probe would be conducted on delinking of TV coverage from the Lok Sabha while discussions on the AP bifurcation bill were on. He alleged that both Congress and the speaker were responsible for blocking TV coverage.
