Synthite Chairman honoured by International Pepper Community

The International Pepper community honoured C V Jacob, Chairman of the city-based Synthite Group for his contribution in the field of spice oils and oleoresins globally at the second International Pepper conclave at Dubai today.
Jacob was among the three 'stalwarts' of the industry, who were honoured for serving the industry for over 50 years, a company press release said.
According to the International Pepper community (IPC), the three have achieved great heights without compromising ethics of trade and boosting the image of their respective countries in the International pepper industry.

IOB receives Best Bank award from TN Govt * Public sector lender Indian Overseas Bank has bagged the Best Bank Award from Tamil Nadu government for its support to the self-help groups in the state.

Indian Overseas Bank Chairman and Managing Director M Narendra received the award from Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at a function here recently, a the Chennai-based bank said in a statement.

DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Agra by August * International hospitality firm Hilton Worldwide would open a new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Agra by August this year.
Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton has signed a management agreement with Archer Hospitality for a DoubleTree by Hilton Agra.
Commenting on the development, DoubleTree by Hilton global head John Greenleaf: The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Agra marks our entry into a key leisure market for both DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Worldwide".

The 104-room hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Agra would be located just two kilometres from the Taj Mahal and will be among few hotels of the city offering views of mausoleum.
