Select base metals ease in sluggish trade

Select copper, nickel and zinc prices eased in an otherwise sluggish non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' selling amid subdued demand from industrial users.
Nickel and zinc fell by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 690 and Rs 207 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 695 and Rs 212.
Copper scrap heavy moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 396 as against Rs 398 previously.
Copper cable scrap and copper billets softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 404 and Rs 432, respectively.
