Meanwhile, tin fell further due to subdued demand from alloy industries.
The industrial metals were trading flat at the LME in early trade, after worries about a Chinese probe into metals financing pushed prices to one month lows in the session before, while aluminium and zinc hovered near multi-month highs on a brightening demand outlook.
Copper scrap heavy shot-up by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 480 from Monday's closing level of Rs 473.
Copper cables scrap, copper wire bar and brass sheet cutting climbed by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 485, Rs 513 and Rs 348 from Rs 482, Rs 510 and Rs 345, respectively.
However, tin declined by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 1,595 from Rs 1,598.
